About

Tavarra is the fertile southern jewel of Elaros — a land of rolling farmlands, thick jungle edges, wide rivers, and sun-drenched coasts where abundance is not seasonal but constant. Known as the breadbasket of the realm, its vast fields and immense livestock operations sustain entire regions beyond its borders, granting Tavarra quiet but undeniable leverage in continental affairs. Its people are tall, broad-shouldered, and bronze-skinned, shaped by a culture that celebrates strength, appetite, and prosperity. Society is patriarchal and polygamous, wealth displayed in gold jewelry and vibrant beadwork, while warriors braid their hair in thick dreadlocks as marks of pride and status. Beneath the surface of feasts and fertile soil lies disciplined organization and economic power — Tavarra does not conquer with armies first; it feeds, finances, and influences. In Tavarra, abundance is strength, and strength is tradition.

Landmarks

Bountihold

Ancestral Seat of House Gullmire
Capital of Abundance

Bountihold rises where jungle-clad mountains meet the sea — a colossal stronghold-city carved into stone, threaded by rivers, and fortified along every approach. Seat of House Gullmire, it is both agricultural capital and maritime fortress, its terraced districts cascading down toward deepwater harbors where trade fleets gather in staggering numbers. Known throughout Elaros as impregnable, Bountihold’s layered defenses, elevated fortifications, and command of river and coastline make it nearly impossible to besiege. Here resides the West Tavarra Trading Company — the wealthiest commercial power in the known world — whose ships and contracts quietly shape economies far beyond the southern seas. In Bountihold, abundance is protected by stone, and wealth is guarded by strategy as much as steel

Emberlynth

Former Hold of The Dragonborn
Mound of Melted Rock

Emberlynth lies in solemn ruin along Tavarra’s rugged interior — the blackened remains of an ancient dragonborn civilization that once rivaled any power in Elaros. Its stepped temples and arcane towers, now fractured and overgrown, still bear the scorch marks of the dragons’ descent that ended its dominion. Stone avenues once filled with scholars and sorcerers now stand silent beneath creeping jungle and drifting ash. The city was not erased by time alone, but by deliberate correction — a reminder of ambition that rose too high. Today, Emberlynth is both cautionary tale and forbidden lure, its broken halls whispering of lost knowledge, arcane mastery, and a people who once dared to challenge their place in the world.

Mt Vulmere

Largest Volcano in the Realm
Nest of Evil Wyrms

Mount Vulmere looms over Tavarra like a smoldering omen — a jagged volcanic peak whose slopes bleed fire and ash into the surrounding land. Its skies are often choked with smoke, and tremors roll through its base without warning. Known across the realm as a breeding ground for malevolent dragons, Vulmere is a place few approach willingly and fewer survive unchanged. Lava-cut ravines, sulfurous vents, and scorched stone valleys form a natural fortress for creatures that thrive in heat and ruin. To the people of Tavarra, the mountain is both curse and boundary — a reminder that even in a land of abundance, there are powers that answer to no crown.
