“I thought I understood what a city was — until I saw Westara City. The streets don’t end, the towers don’t thin, and every corner promises something louder, richer, or more dangerous than the last.”

About
Kingsreach, once known as Eastmarch, was renamed in the aftermath of the cataclysmic War of the Four Winds, when the land was left broken and blood-soaked from years of conflict. The war ended when Andric Eryndor I descended from the skies upon a gold dragon, bringing unity where none had remained. Upon the ruins of his humble hometown of Redharbor, he began the foundation of Westara City — a vision of human greatness forged from devastation. What began as a rebuilding effort became the pinnacle of human civilization: a sprawling imperial capital now home to more than one million souls. Today, Kingsreach stands not merely as a region, but as the heart of the realm’s political power, ambition, and legacy.

Landmarks
Westara City
Grand City of Westara
Formerly Redharbor
Westara City is the beating heart of human civilization in Elaros — a sprawling imperial capital where marble boulevards, towering cathedrals, and gilded senate halls rise above the waters of the great bay. Built upon the bones of old Redharbor, the city grew from Andric’s vision into a metropolis of more than a million souls, drawing merchants, nobles, soldiers, and schemers from every corner of the realm. Its districts range from opulent noble quarters and grand arenas to crowded docks and shadowed alleys where power shifts quietly after dusk. Here laws are forged, wars are declared, fortunes are made, and dynasties rise or fall beneath the ever-watchful eyes of the Crown. Westara City is not merely large — it is decisive, ambitious, and relentless in shaping the fate of the realm.
Eryndale
Home of The Princes
The Forgotten City
Eryndale is the quieter sibling to Westara City — smaller in scale, yet refined in purpose. Long regarded as the proving ground of kings, it is here that princes traditionally practice the art of governance before ascending to the true throne in the capital. Its avenues are orderly, its estates dignified, and its institutions among the finest in the realm, boasting elite academies and vast libraries rivaled only by those of Westara itself. Sometimes called “the Forgotten City” for lacking a single defining spectacle or legend, Eryndale instead excels in steadiness and preparation. It may not command the realm’s attention, but it shapes the minds that eventually will.
Port Bastion
Grand Prison & Port
Isle of Locks
Port Bastion stands as the armored gate of Kingsreach — a fortified harbor where stone battlements meet restless sea. Originally raised to defend the bay after the War of the Four Winds, it has grown into a formidable naval stronghold and military port, its docks lined with warships and supply vessels bound for every coast of Westara. Unlike the grandeur of Westara City or the scholarly calm of Eryndale, Port Bastion is practical, disciplined, and ever watchful. Cannon towers crown its cliffs, signal fires burn through storm and fog, and its garrison trains as though invasion is always one tide away. It is not the political heart of the realm — it is the shield that ensures that heart keeps beating.
