“Pretty walls, pretty towers, and a whole city packed with smug bastards sniffing their own farts like it’s high magic.” - Torren Kask Frostmarch Merchant

About
Elarithil is the ancient elven realm of the southern peninsula, a land of lush forests, moonlit rivers, elegant coastal cities, sacred groves, and leyline ruins older than the Dawning Age. Its mainland border faces Gor’Vathar, where great wall-fortresses and border magic hold back the orcs. Though High Magister Vaeril serves as its foremost voice, Elarithil is governed by an oligarchy of elder houses and powerful magical lineages, not a single ruler. The elves do not follow Crown’s Law, preserving ancient arcane traditions shaped by bloodline, wisdom, and mastery of the Weave. Proud, graceful, and aloof, they prize beauty, memory, art, and patience, viewing war as a failure of grace while preparing for it with quiet precision.

Landmarks
Thalmyr Hold
The Great Elvan Wall
Bulwark of Barbarianism
Thalmyr Hold is the titanic elven wall-fortress separating Elarithil from Gor’Vathar. Raised by high elven hands in ancient days to halt the orc invasions, it has never been breached and remains the realm’s northern shield.
Cael Thealas
Grand City of Elarithil
New Capital of Elarithil
Cael’Thalas is the new capital of Elarithil, raised after Altherien fell to the orcs. Though smaller than Westara City, its walls rival the great human capital, and its spotless districts stand as the pinnacle of elven trade, commerce, research, and art.
New Ossendrel
Homestead of the Banished
Woodelf Haven post-Westara
New Ossrendel is the haven of the wood elves, founded after Andric Eryndor I and Old Glory destroyed ancient Ossrendel. Exiled from their Westaran homeland, the wood elves rebuilt here, creating a bustling refuge that remains a newborn city by elven reckoning.
