Testimony
“I thought the tales were exaggerations — until I faced them. Northerners don’t break; they advance, as steady and merciless as the winter that forged them.”
— Ser Garrick Valemeer, Knight

About
Frostmarch is the unyielding northern stronghold of Elaros — a land of glacial mountains, frozen forests, and iron-gray seas where winter reigns for most of the year. Ruled by House Hammundr, descended from the First Men and the first blood to set foot upon the continent, the region carries an ancient legacy carved in stone and snow. Its people are forged by hardship, valuing loyalty, endurance, and unbreakable oaths above all else. Shield walls guard narrow mountain passes, mead halls burn warm against the endless cold, and the old giant roads still cut through the peaks as reminders of wars long past. Harsh yet honorable, Frostmarch stands as the realm’s northern shield — steadfast, ancestral, and slow to yield.

Landmarks
Thrimhall
Ancestral Seat of House Hammundr
Man's First Hold
Thrimhall is the ancient granite heart of Frostmarch — a fortress carved from mountain and memory. Raised by Thrym Hammundr after the fall of the snow elves, its walls bear the oaths that bind every heir of House Hamundr to the sacred pact with the frost giants. Within its towering halls of stone and giantfur banners, generations of First Men have ruled the north with unbending honor. Beneath the keep, legend says Thrymjar — the hammer of pact and stone — lies sealed in ice, waiting for the hour the north is tested once more. Thrimhall is not merely a seat of power; it is a monument to unity, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of the First Men of Westara.
Skarthael Ruins
Former Hold of The Vaelyari
The Snow Elves of Westara
Skarthael, once the gleaming citadel of the Vaelyari snow elves, now lies shattered beneath the endless snows of the north — a white ruin swallowed by silence. Its crystal spires once ruled the tundra, home to a proud and battle-hardened people who believed the north belonged to them alone. That dominion ended when Thrym Hammundr, of the First Men, forged his pact with the frost giants and marched upon the city in unity of man and titan. The queen fell, the gates splintered, and Skarthael was buried beneath avalanche and war, leaving only broken towers and frozen mosaics to whisper of its fall.
Torrfinger
Tallest Peak in the World
The Throat of the Wolrd
Torrfinger is the tallest mountain in the known world, its spear of stone rising above the clouds like a frozen crown upon the north. At its summit stands an ancient monastery carved into the ice-bound cliffs, where solemn monks guard a holy relic said to test the worth of any who seek it. For the strongest sons and daughters of Frostmarch, the ascent is a rite of passage — a brutal pilgrimage through wind-scoured ridges and killing cold, undertaken not for glory, but for proof. The mountain is more than stone; it is memory made manifest — a towering reminder that in the north, only those who endure are remembered.
