“I arrived in Silkport with three ships and a vault of gold. I left with a single ring on my finger — and that only because no one thought to wager it.”
— Lord Henric Valcor

About
The Gilded Isles are the jeweled crown of Elaros — a chain of tropical islands where turquoise waters meet marble estates and gold flows as freely as wine. Ruled by House Sirellan, whose sigil bears the smiling and weeping mask, the Isles are renowned for the most expensive real estate in the realm, sun-drenched beaches, velvet-draped casinos, and pleasure districts that draw nobles and merchants from every coast. Beneath the glamour lies a sharper edge: private trade fleets, whispered bargains, and shadowed dealings conducted just beyond the lantern light. In the Gilded Isles, beauty is currency, vice is industry, and every smile may hide a calculation.

Landmarks
Silkport
Ancestral Seat of House Sirellan
The Velvet Snare
Silkport is the glittering heart of the Gilded Isles and arguably the largest trade city in all Elaros — a harbor of towering masts, marble promenades, and ships bearing luxury goods from every corner of the world. Here, rare silks, exotic spices, enchanted curios, and gold-laced wines pass through vaulted markets before flowing outward to the realm’s elite. Grand cruise vessels dock daily along its sun-washed quays, delivering nobles eager to lose fortunes in velvet-draped casinos or indulge in the city’s endless temptations. Just beyond the city walls stands the Lockhold — the most heavily defended bank in the realm, its vaults whispered to hold kingdoms’ worth of wealth. Yet for all its polish, Silkport’s culture thrives on vice; beneath the chandeliers and silk banners, the Thieves Guild pulls quiet strings, and in this city of beauty and coin, temptation is not an accident — it is the design.
The Auric Isle
Wealth's Summit
The Exclusive Land
Auric Isle is the pinnacle of wealth in Elaros — a sun-drenched sanctuary of alabaster villas, private harbors, and terraced estates overlooking waters the color of molten glass. It is home to high-ranking bureaucrats, merchant princes, and the vacation palaces of the world’s most powerful families, where influence is measured in coastline and marble rather than coin alone. It is often said that entire towns elsewhere in the realm are not worth a single plot upon Auric soil. Each year, during the famed Gilded Globe Festival, the Isle becomes the center of global intrigue as the rarest artifacts, legendary heirlooms, and priceless curiosities are auctioned beneath chandeliers of crystal and gold. On Auric Isle, fortunes are not merely displayed — they are redefined.
Crowsbay
The Den of Thieves
Pirate Fencing Enclave
Crowsbay lies along the northern edge of the Gilded Isles — a weather-beaten port where the polish of Silkport gives way to salt, smoke, and suspicion. Officially, it is a secondary trade harbor serving fishing fleets and rough merchant traffic. Unofficially, it is the worst-kept secret in the Isles: a favored fence for pirates of the Isles of No Kin, where stolen cargo quietly changes hands beneath crooked lantern light. Taverns spill into the streets, blades settle disputes faster than magistrates, and coin speaks louder than law. In Crowsbay, violence is common, debauchery is currency, and loyalty lasts only as long as the next ship’s arrival.
