House Eryndor
House Eryndor is the dragon-crowned dynasty that forged Westara from ruin in the Dawning Age, its glory born of Andric’s pact with Old Glory and its legacy now shadowed by whispers of curse, decay, and a throne grown dim.

Dragon Kin
They were never merely kings. Even before the crown, the Eryndors walked as if the sky itself bent toward them. Andric did not tame a dragon — he spoke to it, and it answered. That is not conquest. That is kinship.

ANDRIC ERYNDOR I
Andric Eryndor was the first King of Westara and the founder of the Dawning Age. Born in the
humble town of Redharbor in the former province of Eastmarch, he rose from obscurity
alongside his brothers, Ambrose and Aemon, on a quest to bring salvation to their war-torn
homeland. His steadfast sense of justice, unshakable devotion to family, and unmatched valor
marked him as a natural leader. It was Andric who stood before a mighty dragon atop Mount
Vulmere—not to conquer, but to bind in kinship. His pact with "Old Glory" marked the end of
the era of beasts bound by blood and the beginning of an age of unity.
Though he would bear the crown for more than half a century, Andric remained a humble ruler,
known for his fairness, vision, and quiet grief. He rarely spoke of his brothers, only of their
sacrifice. His reign forged peace from ruin, and to this day, the flame of his legacy endures in the
hearts of kings.
As a King, he oversaw a time of peace. Instituted the Great Ledgers, standardizing tax and
census across all provinces. Built the Hall of Laws in Westara City. Commissioned the First
Road Network, connecting Kingsreach to the Azure Coast. Introduced the High Nobles’
Council after trade tensions. Andric lost many children before his only son Ambric. He is said to
have been deeply troubled by the loss of so many children and instituted the The Synod Arcana.
A prestigious band of Wizards, Scholars & Alchemists yet publish no research and said to only
serve the King.

Opened court positions to lesser noble families. Reorganized the Royal Trade Guilds and
created a unified coin system. Further improved The Great Road. Extended from Thrimhall to
Ashmar. Ordered the creation of Port Bastion, a near impregnable fortress to guard Lake
Westara from entry.
AMBRIC ERYNDOR

Rebuilt the Sunspire Temple after an earthquake. Mandated public schooling for noble pages
and scribes. Restored ties with Elarithil and built the Amber Gate Embassy. Founded the Royal
Archivum.. Raised taxes to fund public granaries during a famine.
AMBROSE ERYNDOR

Sent envoys to the Silver Spires and the Weave Sanctum seeking a cure to the supposed curse.
Built the Whisper Hall, where all royal correspondence is archived.. Suffered from recurring
visions. Penned the Codex of Silence, a sealed document believed to contain knowledge of the
curse. Oversaw a cultural golden age—commissioned marble statues of past kings for the
Gallery of Kings.
AEMON ERYNDOR

Reinforced the Royal Bastion and funded a major expansion of the Great Road into
Greenmere. Strengthened the royal navy and expanded Saltspire’s drydocks. Commissioned the
construction of the Royal flagship The Red Wake. Resolved the Tavarran Tariff Riots without
bloodshed. Founded the Dawnbound Order, elite guardians for heirs
ANDRIC ERYNDOR II

Obsessed with ritual and prophecy. Restored forgotten shrines across Tavarra and the
Frostmarch. Rumors of illness or arcane affliction. Commissioned the Hall of Mourned Sons,
where the names of lost Eryndor children are carved into obsidian. Claimed visions of a
returning darkness. Built the Tower of Flame, an observatory and divine temple combined.
ALRIC ERYNDOR I

A stargazer and prophet-seeker. Rarely left the palace. Patron of poets and playwrights.
Commissioned the Theatre of Dawnsong. Known for sorrowful ballads. Left behind a sealed
will said to contain warnings for his heir as he died of a mysterious sickness.
ANDRIC ERYNDOR III

The youngest king in Westaran history, Alric II was crowned in chaos after his father’s sudden
and suspicious death — many whisper poison, none dare confirm. Ill-prepared and barely of age,
the boy-king became a puppet of the High Council, a conclave of opportunists who slowly bled
the realm for gold and glory. Now a man of sixty-five, Alric remains little more than a court
drunk, wrapped in silk and wine while his kingdom starves.
Twice widowed, his legacy is marked by grief: five stillbirths, two infant deaths, and no
surviving heirs. In desperation, he has wed Mara Virelan — young, sharp, and far more
dangerous than he realizes. The people murmur of the curse once more. The nobles sharpen
blades behind locked doors. And the king drinks.
The throne still shines, but the man atop it has long gone dim, as darkness seems to consume the
continent.

Ambrose Eryndor was the second son of Redharbor and the moral heart of the brothers’ fabled
journey. A devout cleric with a monk’s discipline, he believed in peace before violence, mercy
before vengeance. It was Ambrose who tended the wounded in battle, who stayed behind to help
strangers, and who prayed for even the souls of their enemies. His laughter could ease the
harshest night.
He fell before the final pact was made, defending his brothers with everything he had. His death
struck the deepest wound in King Andric’s heart, and his name is still spoken with reverence in
temples across Westara. Among the people, he is the symbol of sacrifice—the light that guided
Andric’s fire.
AMBROSE ERYNDOR

Aemon Eryndor was the youngest of the three brothers and the most brilliant. A scholar beyond
his years, he carried the burden of knowledge and the hunger to protect his home at any cost.
Though quieter than his brothers, his determination burned just as bright. He studied forgotten
texts, uncovered hidden relics, and delved into the arcane arts that others feared.
He died before the oath of dragonkind was sealed, his fate veiled in silence and sorrow. King
Andric never spoke of the manner of his death—only that Aemon’s sacrifice made their final
victory possible. In official records, he is honored—but never discussed at length. Among
historians, he remains the great enigma of the Dawning Age: the brother whose flame was buried
deepest.
AEMON ERYNDOR
Great Powers

They say when Andric Eryndor climbed Mount Vulmere, he did not seek to slay the beast that crowned its peak. He stood before it unarmed, beneath wings wide enough to swallow the sun, and spoke not as conqueror — but as equal.
Old Glory was no mere dragon of fire and scale. His presence bent the air. His voice rolled like distant thunder beneath the earth. Gold as dawnlight and terrible as judgment, he was the last great wyrm to choose alliance over dominion.
In the years that followed, he did not circle battlefields like a weapon unleashed. He descended like a verdict. When his shadow crossed the land, wars ended. When his flame fell, tyrants vanished.
The chronicles say his pact marked the true beginning of the Dawning Age. The smallfolk say something else — that no dragon kneels, and none ever did.
Old Glory did not bow.
He chose.
