"You can tell a Virelan crew before you see the colors. The ship moves differently."
— Harrick Sol, Privateer

About
Governed by House Virelan from the naval stronghold of Saltspire, the Azure Coast is Westara’s maritime spearhead — a region of disciplined fleets, salt-scarred sailors, and ruthless trade. Though officially loyal to the Crown, the Virelans’ ambitions run deep, especially through figures like Davos and Mara, who are whispered to harbor aspirations beyond the sea. While their rivalry with the Gilded Isles simmers beneath courtly smiles, their control of naval dominance grants them leverage unmatched by any other house.

Landmarks
Saltspire
Ancestral Seat of House Virelan
Birthplace of the Dreadnaught
Carved into the sea-cliffs of the Azure Coast, Saltspire rises in tiers of pale stone and wind-torn banners above a harbor that never sleeps. It is the ancestral seat of House Virelan and the birthplace of the dreadnought-class warship—a city where innovation is measured in hulls and cannons. From its towering sea bastions, the Coast does not merely watch the horizon—it owns it.
Ossrendel Ruins
Former Hold of The Elunari
The Woodland Elves of Westara
Once the radiant seat of the Elunari, the wood-elves of the Westaran continent, Ossendrel stood as living harmony between stone and forest. After a failed assassination attempt against Andric Eryndor I, the First King ordered the city evacuated—then burned it to its roots, forcing the surviving elves into exile across the sea to Elaron. Today its shattered spires sleep beneath creeping vines, a monument not to defeat, but to a choice: exile… or ash.
Bridgemarch
Crucial Town for Westara Trade
The Town of Many Tolls
Spanning the mighty Red River at its narrowest crossing, Bridgemarch controls the most vital land route in all of Westara. Caravans from every region pass through its gates, paying toll for the privilege of safe passage between east and west. Known simply as the Toll Town, Bridgemarch proves that power is not always won by sword or crown—but by bridge and coin.
